Former prime minister HD Deve Gowda called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence in New Delhi today, an official statement said.

This was PM Modi's second meeting with a former prime minister. Earlier on May 27, he met his immediate predecessor Manmohan Singh at his official residence - 7 Race Course Road.
