Ajay Kumar, 16, does not allow his disability to hold him back.
Lucknow:
Visibly embarrassed at being cornered by a TV microphone, 16-year-old Ajay Kumar betrays absolutely none of the pride a boy should have if he manages to ace an exam against all odds.
From a family of humble means in the Mainpuri District of Uttar Pradesh, Ajay has exceeded all expectations and scored around 71 per cent in his Class 12 examinations. And he did so by holding the pen between his toes.
His physical disability does little to hold him back. To a crew from news agency ANI, Ajay demonstrates just how he can write, use a laptop and even help with a few chores, despite being disadvantaged.
