Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met the Health Ministers of SAARC countries and stressed on the need for sharing of the best practices and vision in the fields of modern medical science and health care.
Mr Modi also suggested a joint visit to places of research being done at grassroots level in this regard, according to an official statement.
The Health Ministers apprised the Prime Minister of the deliberations during their meeting in New Delhi today, including their intent to make the entire SAARC region polio-free.
