Temperatures across north India soar, with the national Capital seeing consistent temperature above 43 degrees Celsius. There is no reprieve from the scorching sun in sight.
A severe heat wave has returned to haunt the desert state of Rajasthan. Temperatures in all 33 districts of the state are four to six degrees above normal.
Even Jaipur is now sizzling at 45 degree Celsius, six degrees above normal.
NDTV met up with some citizens in Jaipur's Central Park to find out how people are battling the severe heat wave.
"The heat is intolerable. Yes, the heat is too much. We don't feel like working. The heat waves are there throughout the day," said one of the residents of Jaipur.
"I am really worried about my kids falling sick. They can't really go out," said another resident.
