Heavy downpour is likely to occur some places in south Odisha while rain and thundershower will continue in many parts of the state till tomorrow due to a low pressure area, the MeT office said today.
The low pressure, which has been triggering rainfall in several parts of the state, now now lies over west-central Bay of Bengal off north coastal Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts, offcials of the Meteorological centre in Bhubaneswar said.
Under its impact, rain and thundershower would continue to occur at many places over Odisha, it said in a bulletin.
Similarly, heavy rainfall may occur at one or two places over South Odisha in the next 24 hours.
