Jaipur: Heavy rains lashed parts of Rajasthan with Kota receiving maximum rainfall of 11 cm last night, Met report said today.
Light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places in Kota division, Ajmer, Udaipur and Jodhpur district till 8.30 am today, the report said.
Intermittent rains also occurred in Jaipur, Bikaner, and Bharatpur divisions.
Jaitaran received 9 cm rainfall, followed by Raipur (Pali) 7 cm, Ramgarh Shekhawati 6 cm, Pindwara, Jhalawar, Karoikalan, Bagore, Sardar Shahar 5 cm each, and one to four centimetres at many other places in the state.
Gangananagar was the hottest place recording a maximum temperature of 39.9 degrees Celsius.
Monsoon activity would continue over the state in next 24 hours, the Met forecast said.
