Jaipur: Moderate to heavy rains lashed north-west of Rajasthan affecting normal life specially in Jodhpur, Barmer and Jaisalmer districts, a state MeT report said.
However, Chittorgarh recorded 133 mm of rainfall till 8:30 hrs today.
Jaipur, the state capital suffering with high wind velocity since last night, received intermittent showers and recorded 4 mm of rainfall so far today.
Moderate to heavy rains occurred in Barmer, Jalore, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Mount Abu, Bundi, Rawatbhatta, Kota, and Ajmer districts. The rainfall ranged between 40 to 75 mm at several places in these districts.
South West monsoon's present trend would continue in the entire state in next 24 hours, a forecast said.
