Here is What PM Narendra Modi Nawaz Shariff Discussed During Their Meeting in Russia

Ufa: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif in the Russian city of Ufa, on the sidelines of the BRICS and SCO summits. Indian Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar and Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry briefed on the bilateral talks.

• Meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere.
• The two leaders exchanged views on regional and bilateral interest.
• They agreed India and Pakistan have a collective responsibility towards peace and development.
• They are prepared to discuss all outstanding issues.
• Both condemned terror in all forms and agreed to cooperate weith each other to eliminate this menace from South Asia.
• The National Security Advisors of both the countries will meet in New Delhi.
• Early meetings would be held between the heads of the Pakistan Rangers, the Border Security Force and both Directors General of Military Operations.
• Significant that this goes beyond conversations on hotline, given simmering tension along Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
• There has been a decision to release fishermen who are in custody on either side, within 15 days.
• An agreement has been reached to set up a mechanism for religious tourism.
• Decision to discuss ways and means to expedite the Mumbai terror attack trials.
• Additional evidence to be sent by India to Pakistan against those involved with  26/11 attacks. This will include voice samples.
• Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Pakistan to attend the SAARC Summit in 2016. Prime Minister Modi has agreed.
