Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMCH) in Shimla after he suffered chest infection and ran fever, a doctor said on Monday.
The Chief Minister was suffering from viral fever and was hospitalised at the IGMCH early on Sunday, Senior Medical Superintendent Ramesh Chand told IANS.
"All tests are normal. He has been kept in hospital just for observation," he added.
Governor Acharya Devvrat and Cabinet Ministers Vidya Stokes, Thakur Singh Bharmouri and Dhani Ram Shandil visited the hospital on Monday to enquire about his health.
The Chief Minister was suffering from viral fever and was hospitalised at the IGMCH early on Sunday, Senior Medical Superintendent Ramesh Chand told IANS.
