Hamirpur:
The state BJP will launch a month-long campaign, starting from November 15, to demand the ouster of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh over the disproportionate assets case against him and his wife.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the party held in Hamirpur today under chairmanship of state party president Sat Pal Singh Satti.
Health Minister JP Nadda, former chief ministers Shanta Kumar and Prem Kumar Dhumal besides other senior party leaders would be present on all important occasions. Local MPs would also attend functions in their respective areas, Mr Satti said.
It may be recalled that the CBI on September 26 raided the official residence of Mr Singh in Shimla and 12 other places in connection with an alleged disproportionate assets case on a day his daughter was getting married.
