New Delhi: All the six accused in the fatal attack on professor Sabharwal of Ujjain's Madhav college in 2007 allegedly by ABVP workers were let off last week. Now there is more to the tale.
Another twist in Himanshu Sabharwal's tale, son of slain Ujjain college professor H S Sabharwal, Himanshu's accountant Parvinder was found murdered in Delhi University on Thursday night.
Parvinder and two more volunteers Puja and Saif were putting up posters in the university for a candle light vigil for professor Sabharwal.
After recording statements of all three (Himanshu and two other volunteers), police are trying to corroborate the three statements.
Parvinder's bike, gold chain and wallet were found intact but his mobile phone is missing. Sources say this gives them reason for this to be a crime because of personal enmity.
Initially, Himanshu had alleged ABVP's involvement in Parvinder's killing but the police are investigating all angles including blind murder and personal enmity.
"It is a very early stage of investigation but we are exploring all the angles and all the possibilities," said Paramjeet Huda, DCP North, Delhi Police.
"Parvinder never had any enemy had it been ABVP workers, they would have attacked Himanshu not my brother," said Kailash, Parvinder's brother.
All the people who met Parvinder on Thursday are being questioned and are under the scanner including Himanshu.
