Muzaffarnagar: Some 32 Hindu inmates in a jail in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar city are observing "roza", the dawn-to-dusk fast during Ramzan, along with over 1,100 Muslim prisoners, jail officials said.

Jail Superintendent Rakesh Singh said the prison authorities have made special arrangements for the inmates who are performing "roza". Mr Singh said they are giving milk and dry fruit to the inmates for "iftar" or breaking the fast. He said there are 2,600 inmates in the jail.
