New Delhi:
The Home Minister has strongly condemned the Naxal attack on a PSU mineral company in Chhattisgarh on Sunday. Four CISF jawans were killed in the attack.
In a strongly worded statement he said, "We condemn this unprovoked, heinous attack. The mineral company is engaged in many welfare activities."
Slamming the Maoist sympathisers , Chidambaram said that it is time for all right thinking citizens to condemn Maoist terror.
"What is the motive behind the attack on a police force that provides security to NMDC? What is the message that the CPI (Maoist) intends to convey? These are questions that the government would like to put not only to the CPI (Maoist) but also to those who speak on their behalf and chastise the government," the Home Minister added.
The Home Minister also appealed to put an end to the menace.
The statement comes a day after the deadly attack on a Public Sector mineral company in Chhattisgarh on Sunday.
