Barmer:
The Rajasthan Police have recovered a huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives near the India-Pakistan border in Barmer district.
The seized arms and explosives include over eight kilograms of explosives, suspected to be RDX, 596 cartridges, four Chinese pistols and four explosive devices.
This is the second major recovery of illegal arms and ammunition in Barmer in the past week. The first consignment was dug out of sand dunes near the border on September 8 in another raid in the same district.
Sunday's incident follows the arrest of a local smuggler Soda Khan and two of his accomplices. There have been three arrests so far.
