Hurriyat leader heckled in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: Hurriyat chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, attending a seminar in Chandigarh, was heckled. Protesters tried to interrupt him while he was speaking about Kashmir issue.

They shouted slogans and got angry when they were asked to wait for speakers to finish before asking questions.

Fifteen protesters have been arrested. Rioting went on inside and outside the venue for about 15- 20 minutes.
