Hyderabad bomb blasts: Both houses adjourned till noon after uproar over terror attack

New Delhi: Both Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till noon amid chaos as opposition members demanded an immediate discussion on the blasts in Hyderabad last evening. Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde is expected to make a statement on the terror attack in the Lok Sabha at 2 pm today.

As Parliament convened this morning, the BJP demanded that question hour be suspended in both Houses to discuss the Hyderabad attack.

BJP leader Prakash Javadekar told reporters outside Parliament, "The government is failing in the fight against terror and we will raise the matter in parliament."

Sixteen people have died and more than 100 are injured in the twin bomb blasts that rocked Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad on Thursday evening.

Mr Shinde visited Hyderabad early this morning.
