Patrick Brown, Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party and Leader of Opposition in Canada addressed the students and faculty of Kurukshetra University.

Stating that there are immense opportunities for Indian youths in his country, a Canadian lawmaker on Thursday asked the younger generation in Kurukshetra to be a part of the Indian diaspora in Canada.
Addressing the students and faculty of Kurukshetra University (KU) , Patrick Brown, Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party and Leader of Opposition in Canada said, "Except for temperature, both the countries share a lot of things including commonwealth history, legal system, parliamentary system."
Brown said that he is in India to explore various opportunities of collaboration and exchange between India including trade, industry, green energy and education.
KU VC Hardeep Kumar in his address stated that KU is a top ranking Universities in India and there are immense opportunities to have collaboration between KU and Canadian Universities.
"Collaboration in the field of education, research, culture and sports will be explored in the future so that students of KU have a chance to study in Canadian Universities and work there as well," said Mr Kumar.
