Imphal: Army helicopter crashes, 2 bodies recovered
Imphal: An Army helicopter with two pilots that went missing along the Nagaland-Manipur border on Wednesday morning, has crashed. There were reportedly three people on board, including the two pilots. Two bodies have been recovered from the wreckage.

The Cheetah helicopter crashed about five km from Vishwema village near the Manipur-Nagaland border at 8.50 am. It had taken off from Dimapur for Limakong near Imphal on a routine sortie and was reported missing.

The probable cause of the crash was bad weather and poor visibility, early reports said. A court of inquiry has been ordered.

More details are awaited.
