If the crew is busy helping you to shop on your flight, who's making sure the plane is safe?
That's what airlines are discussing today. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has called for a meeting with domestic airlines to figure out new guidelines. The idea is to ensure that passenger and flight safety is not compromised when the cabin crew is busy selling products from its catalogues.
Most domestic airlines in India have stopped in-flight shopping. The exceptions are GoAir and IndiGo.
