San Jose: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met with California Governor Edmund Brown and later with Salman Khan, the founder of Khan Academy, a non-profit educational organization.
"Deepening ties with California, this time on the official side: Governor Edmund Brown Jr. calls on PM," external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.
"An educator with a difference. Salman Khan, founder of @khanacademy calls on PM @narendramodi," he posted.
Khan Academy is a free online educational platform that produces videos on diverse subjects for students.
