Income Tax clean chit to Tharoor?

Kochi: In a report submitted to the government, the Income Tax (I-T) department has said Shashi Tharoor did not benefit from the Kochi IPL deal.

The Ministry added that the I-T department is probing IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi's offshore money and is trying to find if stakeholders are fronts for Modi.

On Sunday, Shashi Tharoor resigned as the Minister of State for External Affairs.
