Inderpuri rape case: Woman 'retracts'
Delhi: The woman who alleged she was gangraped by the police on Wednesday, which led to protests in Delhi's Inderpuri area, has reportedly changed her story now.

She told the metropolitan magistrate that she had accused the SHO and four others of raping her so that the SHO would be dismissed or transferred.

She said the police were after her husband who they claimed was involved in a gambling racket.

Earlier, Delhi Police had filed an FIR against the SHO and four other people after the woman had complained that she was taken inside the police station and raped by the five people.

After her allegations, residents of Inderpuri in north Delhi came out into the streets, pelting stones and ransacking the police station. They also tried to set fire to the premises.
