"We both see this as process of building trust and understanding," said SM Krishna, External Affairs Minister, adding that he had accepted an invitation to visit China next year.
At their recent meeting in Thailand, Manmohan Singh and Chinese premier Wen Jiabao had agreed not to amplify tensions especially through the media .Their foreign ministers followed that line.
The two Asian giants reiterated their commitment to peace and tranquility and building trust. But with such slow progress on the boundary issue, there could be more spats in the future.
