New Delhi: Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor has said that India has not received any dossier from Pakistan.
Slamming the reports of Pakistan's dossier on India's alleged role in Balochistan and Sri Lankan team attacks, Tharoor said that India has no role in Pakistan's internal matters.
"India is not interested in destabilising Pakistan. It is a propaganda by the media in Pakistan," said Tharoor.
Earlier on Thursday, top government sources claimed that Pakistan did not give India any dossier with details of its hand in Balochistan or the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore.
A leading English daily in Islamabad had on Wednesday claimed that Pakistan has handed over to India a dossier allegedly containing "comprehensive evidence" of Indian involvement in several terrorist acts on its soil, including the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team.
The dossier with proof of "India's involvement in subversive activities in Pakistan" was handed over by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh during their recent meeting at the Egyptian resort of Sharm-el-Sheikh, the 'Dawn' newspaper claimed quoting sources.
When contacted, an Indian High Commission official said that the only information provided by Pakistan in the meeting between the two Prime Minister was on its dossier on Mumbai attacks, which included reference to the five Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) people, who are undergoing trial in Pakistan, and 13 other suspects declared as proclaimed offenders.
