India, Nepal Sign Agreements For Roads And Reconstruction Projects
Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
New Delhi: India and Nepal today signed three agreements, including new dollar credit line agreement of $750 million for post-earthquake reconstruction.

The other two agreements include MoU for project management consultancy services for upgradation/Improvement of Road infrastructure in Tarai of Nepal and first amendatory dollar credit line for post-earthquake reconstruction projects in Nepal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepali counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal witnessed the signing of agreements ceremony.

Prime Minister Dahal was earlier accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourts of the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

He held talks with his Indian counterpart and is scheduled to hold talks with President Pranab Mukherjee.

The visiting dignitary arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday.

On his arrival, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met the Nepalese Prime Minister.
