New Delhi:
India and Pakistan are all set to announce the resumption of talks in several areas at the level of ministers and secretaries, but they aren't being dubbed as the 'composite dialogue'.
Sources have told NDTV that talks between secretaries and other senior officials from the Home, Defence, Culture, Commerce and Water ministries will start soon.
This was agreed on when the two Foreign Secretaries - Nirupama Rao and Salman Bashir - met in Bhutan on February 6. (Read: After Indo-Pak talks, a note of 'cautious optimism')
Officials say it is not being labeled as the 'composite dialogue' because they do not want to get stuck on nomenclature.
The composite dialogue was formally suspended after the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
