New Delhi:

Government sources in India have reacted to Pakistan saying that enough evidence had been given against JuD chief Hafiz Saeed.

Sources said that material has been shared five times with Pakistan and legal evidence has also been given to them on the JuD chief.

They also said that all the questions that Pakistan has raised have been responded to.

Earlier, Pakistan had said that they have no evidence to act against Saeed. India believes he is the mastermind of 26/11 attacks, but Pakistan said the information provided so far by India is not enough for it to take legal action against him.

Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit had said, "It needs to be underlined that the dossiers and information received from India regarding Saeed are not really enough to proceed legally as is being expected."

Saeed, who was put under house arrest in December last year after the Mumbai attacks, was freed on June 2 on the orders of the Lahore High Court.

On Pakistan seeking Interpol notice against the 13 Mumbai attacks suspects, the sources from Indian side said the Indian High Commission is verifying these reports.
