New Delhi:
India will write a letter to the United States seeking direct access to 26/11 accused David Headley. According to sources, the letter will be finalised next week and after which it plans to send a team to the US.
India wants to interrogate Headley face to face and plans to send a team to the US. The team will have a magistrate to record Headley's statement.
The team will also have officials from the National Investigation Agency, Intelligence and the Mumbai Police.
On Tuesday, the Union Home Secretary GK Pillai had made it clear that remarks made by the US Ambassador will not come in the way of India getting access to Headley accused in the Mumbai terror attacks. (
