New Delhi:
Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh has declared that India wants to be a "deal-maker and not a deal-breaker", in the world agreement on climate change.
Speaking to NDTV's Sarah Jacob after President Obama's speech at the UN Climate Meet on Monday, Ramesh said, "I think president Obama was very clear. He signaled the return of the United States to the mainstream of international environmental negotiations, which is a good thing. I think the international committee must work with the US to facilitate its taking on its historical obligations at Copenhagen."
