Srinagar: The Army today foiled an infiltration bid in Keran Sector along the Line of Control, killing a militant in the operation.
On noticing some suspicious movement in the sector, troops opened fired at the ultras, an Army official said. The guns fell silent after a brief gunfight.
During search operation, police recovered the body of the militant and an AK rifle.
