IPL team-owners don't want Shashank Manohar?
New Delhi: The stage seems to be set for a fight over who will take over from Lalit Modi. (Read: Modi prepares defense, says won't resign)

NDTV has learnt that they don't believe Manohar can run the IPL like Lalit Modi. So they have their own plan in place. (Forum: Can IPL survive sans Modi's vision?)

  • IPL franchises will nominate one of their own to be appointed as IPL Commissioner on a rotation basis for a period of two years
  • The Vice Chairman of IPL would be a person nominated by the BCCI
  • The Governing council should be controlled by the BCCI with Modi as a member
