Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today targeted the Central government over
a new video of JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar in which he says Delhi Police allowed the men who allegedly assaulted him during a court hearing last week to leave.
In the video filmed by a group of Supreme Court-appointed lawyers several
policemen fail to give a convincing explanation of how the attackers entered the court, allegedly assaulted Kanhaiya Kumar and then leave despite the heavy police deployment.

Mr Kumar's government has come under attack over the killings of two BJP leaders and one Lok Jan Shakti party leader in the state in the last month, with the Opposition bringing back the 'Jungle Raj' charge.
Mr Kumar's speech was boycotted by the entire Opposition as the House was called on Saturday on a short notice. But that didn't stop him countering their charge of lawlessness in the state and challenging them to disclose the location of missing Rashtriya Janata Yadav lawmaker Rajbhallav Yadav.
Mr Yadav, a member of the RJD which is a part of Mr Kumar's government, is an accused in the rape of a young girl.
Challenging the leader of Opposition Prem Kumar who claimed that that the absconding legislator is roaming freely, Mr Kumar dared the BJP leader to share his location with the police in confidence if he knew his whereabouts.
"There's no question of protecting anyone whoever he may be and I have told all senior officials to immediately book the legislator," Mr Kumar said.
