Ishrat Jahan's family wants death penalty for her killers

• We have been fighting for nine years. We kept saying that my sister is innocent, she has murdered.

• She was a second year science student. She spent half her day studying
• My father died in 2002, she was the one who looked after us after his death. She used to teach after coming back from college to earn money
• We are happy with CBI chargesheet. It has been proved that she is innocent. I am not entirely happy because people who killed her have not been punished
• Happy that the terrorist taint on our family and my sister has been cleaned
• It is not our fight or fight of Muslims; it is a fight of all ordinary people
• We are happy that some of the culprits are getting punished but we want all of them to be punished
• We had to go through a lot after my sister was called a terrorist. We didn't get jobs

Ishrat's mother says:

• I have been saying since the beginning that my daughter is innocent. Not completely happy with the report. Other people who got my daughter killed should also be named
• Want death penalty for my daughter's killers
  

Ishrat's uncle says:

• Half justice is not justice. Chargesheet has names of cops who killed her but the report is incomplete. We are still couple of steps away from naming people who got her killed
• A political party has been misguiding people again and again
• We had think twice before going for a hearing due to fear of threats
  CBI in its chargesheet has not mentioned the terrorist angle but we are sure eventually the truth will come out
• When Rajendra Singh's name came up, the fight became that of Congress and BJP, we were sidelined
• People who murdered have been named but people who got her murdered have still not been touched
