ISI agent with secret documents held in Patna

Patna: Bihar police on Tuesday arrested an ISI agent carrying important military papers in Patna.

Police said Sudhanshu Sudhakar, a dismissed sepoy of the Indian Army, was caught with some secret military documents which he apparently was planning to hand over to a contact in Kathmandu.

Sudhakar, who was under surveillance for some time after being dismissed from the army, has been held under Official Secrets Act.

Providing details of the arrest, Vineet Vinayak, SSP, Patna, said, "Sudhakar was recruited in 2002 and in 2007. He was thrown out for indiscipline. After that he came to Sitamarhi, and was then approached for information for which he was offered a lot of money."

"After his arrest he told us he has many documents which he was going to give to ISI module member in Kathmandu. Many important documents have been recovered from him. On his direction, we raided his Sitamarhi house and found many official secrets documents."
