Mumbai:
There has been widespread speculation that Maria Susairaj is being roped in season five of Bigg Boss. The channel has, however, darted off a release stating that they have neither approached her nor will she be considered to be part of the reality show.
Now the buzz is that Navjot Singh Sidhu is being offered a whopper to be part of the fifth season of Bigg Boss. The cricketer-turned-commentator has been reportedly offered Rs 5 crore to be part of the reality drama.
"The makers have already approached Sidhu with an offer that he cannot refuse. The huge sum is for him to spend five weeks inside the Bigg Boss house with the other contestants," says a source.
"They are aware that his 'Sidhuisms' are a great hit with the viewers and are keen to rope him," the source adds.
Apparently, the senior cricketer was approached for the show two years ago but at the last minute withdrew leaving the channel to search for a replacement. Designer Rohit Varma was then roped in.
"The channel has already started penciling in the contestants for the next outing. The show is slated to go on air around October," adds the source.
