Jammu: Seven people, including five children, were killed and 27 others injured when a passenger bus rolled down into a deep gorge on Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Sunday, police said.
"A passenger bus, on its way to Jammu from Kashmir valley, skidded off the road and rolled down into the deep gorge at Nandi-capt Morh area, 40 km from here," Nagrota Police Station SHO Yash Pal said.
Five children and two women died on the spot, while the 27 injured were rushed to government medical college hospital where seven of them were in critical condition, he said.
