Pulwama:
In Jammu and Kashmir, the fierce gunbattle between militants and security forces in Awantipora area of Pulwama has ended.
Two militants were holed up inside a house. The body of one of the militants has been recovered and search is on for the second militant.
One jawan was also injured in the gunbattle.
The Army and police cordoned off Dadsar village in Awantipora last night following information about the presence of militants in the area.
A gunfight broke out between the militants and the security forces at around 10 am this morning.
