Jammu:
One militant was killed during a night-long encounter in the forests of Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Saturday.
The gunfight started at Nandigard area of Kishtwar when security forces encircled a group of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants on Friday night and lasted well past midnight.
The rest of the militants are suspected to have escaped in the cover of darkness, officials said. The body was found on Saturday morning.
