Jagan Mohan Reddy in Delhi to campaign for 'united' Andhra Pradesh
Jagan Mohan Reddy arrived in Delhi on Friday night.
New Delhi: The YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the national capital today to meet leaders of various political parties to muster support for a "united" Andhra Pradesh.

Mr Reddy will be meeting leaders of the Left Front today. He is also expected to meet top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP tomorrow.

At a rally in Hyderabad last month, Mr Reddy had made his support in the next year's Lok Sabha elections conditional, saying he will support any party that stands for a united Andhra Pradesh.

The YSR Congress said Mr Reddy will take his 'united' Andhra Pradesh campaign to other state capitals where he plans to meet the heads of regional parties as well.

The Centre aims to bring the Telangana Bill in Parliament in the second half of the winter session to be held on December 5-20, five months after the ruling Congress endorsed the decision to carve a separate Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh.

Attempting to project his party as the sole champion of a 'united Andhra', the YSR Congress chief has accused both Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and Telugu Desam Party or TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu of betraying the people of Seemandhra - the regions of coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, which are vehemently opposed to splitting Andhra Pradesh.
