Congress MPs from Telangana region on Tuesday said they will complain to the high command about the reported remarks of Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah.

"Rosaiah is a veteran leader with a spotless character. He is appointed to the Chief Minister post by Sonia Gandhiji. Talking about him in a disrespectful manner and holding him responsible for the violent incident at Mahabubabad railway station is highly objectionable," Lok Sabha member from Nizamabad Madhu Yashki Goud told reporters.

Jagan's comments appear to be an attempt to cover up the "mistake done by him", he alleged.

Congress MPs from Telangana would take the matter to the notice of party high command, he said.

Another MP G Sukhender Reddy also said it was "painful" that Jagan spoke in a "disrespectful" manner about Rosaiah.

The MPs were speaking after a meeting with Rosaiah.

Other Telangana Congress MPs, who met the Chief Minister, included M Jagannath, Balaram Naik, G Vivek, Suresh Shetkar and S Rajaiah.

Talking to mediapersons in Delhi on Monday, Jagan has reportedly held Rosaiah responsible for the attack on Congress leaders and workers who came to receive him at the Mahabubabad railway station in Warangal district when he embarked on his 'Odarpu yatra' last week.

Telangana supporters had allegedly hurled stones at Congress leaders and vandalised the Mahabubabad railway station during the incident.

Ahead of yatra, Congress MPs from Telangana had urged the high command to prevail upon Jagan to defer his tour in Telangana in view of the surcharged atmosphere in the region.
