New Delhi:
The email reportedly sent by Indian Mujahideen after the Jama Masjid firing incident in Delhi, which injured two foreign nationals, on Sunday has been traced to Mumbai.
The police are now looking for at least four suspected Indian Mujahideen operatives involved in planning and executing Sunday's shooting and botched bombing.
Preliminary investigations show the mail was sent from a mobile handset but the address given at the time of buying the mobile phone is not genuine.
The inputs received about four months ago had indicated renewed Lashkar attempt to motivate, finance and train IM operatives in carrying out attacks in India closer to CWG either in Delhi or any other Indian City.
These were not specific inputs, only generic in nature.
The security agencies are now worried about further such attempts in coming days.
