Srinagar:
An all-party meeting, convened by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today to assess the flood situation, issued a joint appeal to individuals as well as organisations within and outside the state to help affected people in every possible way.
A resolution was passed at the meeting attended by PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti, Congress leader Saifuddin Soz and BJP's Jugal Kishore and others.
Mr Abdullah had called the meeting to discuss the crisis and get suggestions from different parties to deal with it.
