Chandigarh: The Haryana government today fixed March 5 as the last date for submission of claims by those whose properties were damaged in the incidents of violence and arson during the Jat agitation for quota.
"The last date would be March 5. As March 4 and 5 are holidays, all departments concerned have been asked to make necessary arrangement for receiving claims on both these days," a government statement said.
These departments will also ensure that the interim compensation is paid or released within four days of the receipt of claims. The remaining compensation will be paid within 15 days, it said.
