Jind: The Akhil Bhartiya Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti (ABJASS) has sought the administration's permission to sit on a dharna in Julana and Danoda from June 13.
Announcing its plan about the dharna, district president of ABJASS Bhupinder Singh on Friday said a letter has been sent to the administration seeking permission for the same.
Meanwhile, the attendance in Khatkar village of the district, which has been a protest site for Jat reservation since June 5, swelled even more.
The district administration held a meeting with the leaders to end the stir. The Jat leaders, however, said that their protest would continue till their demands are met.
Deputy Commissioner Vinay Singh, SP Rakesh Arya, SDM Yogesh Mehta, Jat leaders Bhupinder Singh and Randhir Chahal were among those present in the meeting.
