Chennai : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa will convene a special Assembly session on the Mullaperiyar dam issue on December 15.
Jayalalitha said the Assembly is likely to pass a resolution that Tamil Nadu will not give up their rights because of an "imaginary threat."
She also appealed for calm on the Tamil Nadu Kerala border, saying: "We have no quarrel with Keralites. Destroying their properties is not a solution."
The Chief Minister added that the solution ''lies in presenting sound technical and scientific data to the Supreme Court.''
