Block and districtlevel committees have been asked to prepare a panel of 10 candidates who havecontributed in strengthening the party and in the implementation of different developmentschemes, state JD(U) president Vijay Kumar Choudhry said.
Those aspirants whohave successfully implemented measures initiated by Nitish Kumar government forthe uplift of different sections of the society, particularly the down-troddenwould be given preference, he told reporters.
Choudhry said theparty would organise region-wise political conference in which JD (U) presidentSharad Yadav would participate.
Meanwhile, RJDleaders Chaturbhaj Prasad Gupta and Mal Babu Shahni have joined JD (U)expressing faith in the leadership of Chief Minister Nitsh Kumar.
