Siwan, Bihar: A Janata Dal-U lawmaker today filed a complaint in a court in Bihar's Siwan district charging Prime Minister Narendra Modi with hurting the sentiments of the people of the state by questioning the DNA of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar four days ago.
The JD(U) lawmaker from Barharia Shyam Bahadul Singh filed the complaint under sections 500 and 427 of Indian Penal Code in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate in-charge Alok Ranjan Singh.
The judge has posted the matter for hearing on July 31 and directed the petitioner to substantiate his charge.
PM Modi had during his speech at NDA's 'Parivartan Rally' in Muzaffarpur on July 25, said that something was wrong in the DNA of the senior JD(U) leader the way he had cancelled dinner for visiting BJP delegates during the party's national executive in Patna in June, 2010.
