Ranchi: Jharkhand is the first state in the country to have implemented Public Fund Management System (PFMS), an official release said on Tuesday.
Development Commissioner Amit Khare said Union Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa appreciated the implementation of Jharkhand's public fund management system.
"Union Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa has praised Jharkhand's pace of implementation of PFMS," the release said quoting Mr Khare.
Mr Lavasa's appreciation came during a video conference with finance secretaries from all states, it said.
Mr Khare told Mr Lavasa that all the 32 treasuries across Jharkhand were computerised and cyber treasury was established, the release added.
