Rail traffic on the Howrah-Delhi line that was disrupted after Naxals blew up a rail track in Jharkhand has now been restored.
The incident took place at about 2 am on Monday morning when the Naxals blew up a part of the rail track near Giridih when a goods train was travelling on it.
Several long-distance passenger trains like Kalka Mail, Neelanchal Express, Chambal Express were stopped at various places.
Police and rail officials reached the spot at day break and helped in restoration.
The attack comes as the Naxals have called a 48-hour bandh in Jharkhand.
