Ranchi: Rail traffic on the Howrah-Delhi line that was disrupted after Naxals blew up a rail track in Jharkhand has now been restored.
The incident took place at about 2 am on Monday morning when the Naxals blew up a part of the rail track near Giridih when a goods train was travelling on it.
Several long-distance passenger trains like Kalka Mail, Neelanchal Express, Chambal Express were stopped at various places.
The attack comes as the Naxals have called a 48-hour bandh in Jharkhand.
